PAY RATE:

$22/hr - $28/hr

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES (INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO):

Under general supervision of the Police Chief, provide safety and security to citizens within the community of Fredonia through the patrolling of neighborhoods, enforcement of laws and ordinances, apprehension of suspects and response to public assistance calls.

REQUIREMENTS:

High School diploma or equivalent GED Certificate; valid US Driver License; State of Arizona Police Officer Certification, or ability to obtain; must pass comprehensive background and criminal history checks. Must be 21, or turn 21 before graduating the Police Academy.

Must pass a strenuous physical agility test, written exam, oral board, physical examination, polygraph examination, and drug/alcohol screening.
